Kookie of London, new vintage clothing brand in East London, marks International Women’s Day by donating 25% of profits this weekend to the Centre.

“Challenging gender stereotypes, ‘fast fashion’ and social inequality … we are a creative social enterprise & purveyor of second hand & original re-crafted clothes, accessories & decor.  For the very first time, Kookie of London will open the doors of its Shoreditch workshop to the public for a two-day sample sale.

On Saturday March 8th and Sunday March 9th (10am to 8pm), clients will have a chance to purchase vintage clothing and home wares as well as one-of-a-kind recrafted vintage items including pillowcases made from Western shirts, Harris Tweed jackets with Hawaiian shirt details and handmade denim and flannel workshop aprons.

25% of all profits from the weekend sale will go directly to London’s Crossroads Women’s Centre in honour of International Women’s Day.”  See for yourselves and support the Centre at 6 Cleve Studios, Boundary Street, Shoreditch, E2 7JD
